Email Verification & Newsletter Communications

Use of Email Verification Services

When you register or provide an email address, Prime Software may use third-party email verification services to:

  • Confirm the validity and format of the address,
  • Ensure the domain exists and is live,
  • Protect against typos, invalid entries, or fraudulent account creation.

Why we do this:

  • To enhance platform security and reduce misuse,
  • To help ensure that communications reach a valid and functioning inbox.

What we share:

  • Your email address is securely sent to the verification provider;
  • No additional personal data is shared for this purpose.

Newsletter Subscription & Consent

Prime Software offers optional email communications, including: product news, updates, best practices, and promotions.

  • Opt-In Required: You’ll be explicitly asked for consent when signing up or through account settings.
  • Granular Preferences: You may choose specific types of content (e.g., product updates only).

Opt-Out & Communication Preferences

  • All marketing newsletter emails include a prominent “Unsubscribe” link, enabling you to easily opt out.
  • You may also update your email preferences at any time via your account dashboard.
  • We process opt-out requests within 5 business days. After that, you will no longer receive the opted-out communications.

Mandatory & Service-Related Emails

Even if you opt out of newsletters, operational or legally necessary emails (e.g., account alerts, billing, product updates, or security notices) will still reach you. These are essential and cannot be unsubscribed from as they relate to your account or legal obligations.

Data Security and Retention

  • Email addresses and preferences are stored securely and in encrypted format.
  • We retain email addresses only as long as needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless retention is required by law.

Third-Party Processors

  • Our email verification provider and email service are third-party processors engaged under contract and do not store or use your data beyond our instructions.
  • We ensure that these partners maintain strong data protection measures in line with applicable laws.

Data Security

We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your privacy. No user-identifiable data is ever stored or transmitted without your clear and informed consent.

Children’s Privacy

Our apps are not designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or store information from children.
